Program Officer / Psychosocial Counselor

Tuki Association Sunkoshi is a community based NGO working in child education, child protection, health and nutrition, livelihood and several development activities. It has been working with Save the Children and other development partner agencies. Now the organization is looking for proactive, self motivated and committed human resource to work in "Emergency in Education and Protection" to support the children in collaboration with Save the Children in various VDCs of Sindhupalchok.

Position: Program Officer (Education)

REQUIRED NUMBER: 1

PERIOD: Initially 6 months (possibility of extension)

REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor degree in Education, (Masters Preferred) and/ or other relevant subjects.
• Minimum one year work experience in related field.
• Proficient in written and spoken English (a must).

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Reporting via English both written and spoken (compulsory). 
• Knowledge in Education laws and Education system of the country in rural settings.
• Management of project.
• Overall responsibility to implement the project.
• Work independently without any minimal and/or no supervision.
• Ability to work in remote field.
• Ability to handle time pressure.

Position: Psychosocial Counselor

REQUIRED NUMBER: 2

PERIOD: Initially 6 months (possibility of extension).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in Psychology.
• Bachelor degree with 6 month psychosocial counseling training received.

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Focal point to implement psychosocial support, implementation of field related activities 
• Report to Program Officer.
• Organize group or one-to-one sessions for counseling.
• Computer skills
