Tuki Association Sunkoshi is a community based non government organization. It has been working in child education, child protection, health and nutrition, livelihood and several development activities for more than two decades. Now the organization is looking for proactive, technically sound, self motivated and committed human resource to work in Nutrition, Shelter and Food Security & Livelihood (FSL) program to support for the earthquake affected rural community of Sindhupalchok. Tuki is going to implement this program in collaboration with Save the Children in the district.

Position: Program Manager

Required number: One

Period: Initially 11 months with 3 months' probation period

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Advanced Master degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Natural Resource Management and/or  any other relevant subject (a first level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree)
• At least 3 years of professional experience, including project management in a multicultural environment
• Proficient knowledge of English and computer is required.

RESPONSIBILITY:

• The main responsibility of this position is to oversee the entire project management. Besides, managing the project in line with the project documentation, supervising and leading the thematic field officers, preparing, managing and regularly updating project activities work plan, procurement plan, recruitment plan, MEAL plan and financial plan. Similarly ensuring timely and quality implementation of activities in compliance with the defined project and organizational strategy as well as donor's guidelines, undertaking field visits to provide guidance and supervision as well as to regularly monitor activities progress, representing Tuki in relevant thematic working groups as well as other coordination and adhoc meetings, as per the need of organization. 

Position: Program Officer (Food Security & Livelihood)

• Bachelor degree in Agriculture Science with minimum 1 year's work experience in related field and proficient knowledge of English and computer is required.

RESPONSIBILITY: 

• Focal point to implement Food Security & Livelihood project and assist Program Manager, supervising and leading the thematic technical as well as nontechnical Social Mobilizers.Coordination in community level stakeholders, documentation, data management, recording and reporting, facilitation, program monitoring and provide guidance to subordinates.

Position: Program Officer (Nutrition)

Required number: 1

Period: Initially 11 months with 3 months' probation period 

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor degree in Public Health with minimum 1 year's work experience in related field and  proficient knowledge of English and computer is required.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Position: Agriculture Technician (JT/JTA)

Required number: 2

Period: Initially 11 months with 3 months' probation period 

QUALIFICATION:

• Diploma in Agriculture/Livestock with minimum 1 year's work experience or TSLC with 2 years' work experience in related field.

RESPONSIBILITY: 

• Support to implement the activities directly set by the project and other livelihood related activities to the targeted beneficiaries as per the project objectives and organizational policy, conduct farmers training,  prepare periodic report and event report, support and facilitate to groups, and cooperatives to conduct regular meetings. 

All the above mentioned positions are extendable subject to availability of funding.
