Physiotherapist

Prerana is a non-governmental organisation working in the field of empowering women, children, people with disability, poor and marginalised community. Prerana is running a physical rehabilitation centre in partnership with HANDICAP International in Malangwa, Sarlahi to provide physical rehabilitation services in central Terai districts of Nepal. Prerana is looking for a qualified, experienced and certified Physiotherapist in its physical rehabilitation centre, Malangwa.

Job Profile: The Certified Physiotherapist will be responsible to achieve quality rehabilitation services to people with disabilities as well as build the capacity of the rehabilitation staff. Work will be based at the clinic plus there will be the organisation and running of mobile camps and relevant home visits in the area. You will work with an assistant and community workers and hence be expected to provide training for them.

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Physiotherapy with, ideally, at least one year experience
• Experience of working with community based activities

Desired skills:

• High self-motivation and attitude of adaptability
• Ability to work in close and effective coordination with the team

Conditions, Salary & Benefits:

This position is based in Malangwa, Sarlahi.
