Join one of Australia’s most respected and fastest growing international development organisations – The Fred Hollows Foundation.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to continue The Foundation’s work in Nepal through the management of our partnership with the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (TIO). You will work closely with TIO’s leadership in achieving their strategic objectives, building capacity and furthering the impact and reach of programs to end avoidable blindness. Your experience at a strategic level, skill in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and capacity to work in a global organisation will be essential for success in the role.

Essential criteria includes:

  • Degree in public health, international development or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience managing complex, large scale programs in public health or development
  • Previous experience in managing high-level representation and strategic advocacy to engage and influence senior levels of government, multi-lateral agencies and other partners
  • Strong project management skills across the full project cycle, including program development, implementation and evaluation
  • Commitment to and strong capacity for working through collaboration and partnerships – must have superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Experience liaising with and meeting the requirements of Government departments
  • Strong written and verbal English ability
