Outsourcing Operations Manager

We are a UK based tech startup, opening a new office in Kathmandu to be our Outsourcing Center to perform many of our operational activities.  We are looking for an Operations Manager to start, manage and grow it.

This is a varied and demanding hands-on role, covering a wide range of operational and management tasks:

• Start off doing all aspects of our outsourcing tasks yourself, so you understand them perfectly (first few months)
• Recruit new operators and build the team
• Design and operate scalable recruitment and candidate assessment procedures
• Create new employee training materials
• Perform new employee induction, on-boarding and training
• Supervise the team and manage the operations
• Be held to a very high standard of accuracy and efficiency, and in return be well looked after and rewarded
• Manage all aspects of the facility and its staff including its future expansion

The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with broad operational and management experience, either in a call-center, support department, or similar outsourced facility, and will have most of the following:

• Extreme attention to detail
• Perfect spoken and written English
• The desire to become an expert in all operational and technical aspects of our products, procedures and operations
• Recruitment experience
• Training experience
• Management experience
• Pro-active, problem solving attitude and ability to work calmly under pressure
• At least a Bachelor degree in any subject
• Experience of working unsociable hours and the ability to manage work load and hours independently

Other Specific Requirements:

• Core shift of 10am to 7pm
• Operations are 24x7 so you will also need to be working some of the time during those other shifts, and be on call
