We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented professional for the following positions with the new Nepal Seed and Fertilizer project, funded by USAID and led by CIMMYT:

POSITION: Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

Reference No: N16648

Work Station: Kathmandu

Qualification: Master’s degree in Rural Management or Agricultural Sciences. 5 years’ experience working on agriculture-related projects. Work experience on gender-related issues would be preferred. Demonstrated ability to establish collection and reporting systems for data from a variety of geographic locations and diverse populations. Must be very organized, a clear communicator (verbal and written) and able to meet deadlines. Strong ability to work in a team, with the ability to work independently if needed. English fluency is a must.

Position description: The Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist will oversee implementation of the M&E system in the target areas and make sure the necessary data is gathered to report to USAID; contribute to narrative reports and other communications materials; design feedback mechanisms so that the project can learn from developments on the ground; assist in data quality assessments; support the collection of GPS points for all beneficiaries; support the field teams with digital data collection and surveys; and contribute to the development of seasonal planning documents.
