Chemonics International, an implementing partner of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), seeks qualified candidates for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain (GHSC) - Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) project in Nepal. GHSC-PSM will serve as the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and furnish health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve Nepal’s management of the supply chain, and collaborate with key international and local stakeholders to support U.S. government-funded public health initiatives in Nepal.

We are looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist with at least 4 years of experience designing and implementing an M&E Plan of donor-funded technical assistance programs, and experience interacting with U.S. government technical staff and local counterparts. The M&E Specialist will perform M&E duties as assigned by the Country Director to achieve the PSM Nepal Project’s goals and objectives. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, sociology or similar field required.
  • Demonstrated ability in data analysis, project design, monitoring, and evaluation of development activities. 
  • At least 4 years of experience developing results frameworks, logical frameworks, or similar tools for project design is required. 
  • Experience developing and/or using performance management plans or similar tools is required. Demonstrated ability to work with cooperating partners in implementing complex programs.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize effectively, to convey results to non-technical stakeholders, and to generate interest in the use of M&E results and help staff to make programmatic improvements desired. Exposure to USAID’s managing for results approach desired.
  • Oral and written communication skills to deal effectively with mid and high level partner contacts, the host government, and the local communities.
