MH & PSS COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: MH & PSS COORDINATOR 

Base: RAMECHHAP

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Global technical coordination of MH & PSS activities
• Design and supervision of monitoring activities. 
• Design of training materials.
• Capacity building of MH & PSS team
• Carry out MH & PSS trainings
• Assisting development and updating of MdM Strategic Plan of intervention in the country.
• Team management, support and supervision of MdM-Spain program technical staff in MH&PSS
• Coordination with NGOs, international organizations & local associations in Ramechhap
• Follow up of technical issues with the Technical Coordinator
• Writing of regular reports
• Maintain up-to-date context analysis, monitoring the situation of vulnerability in the areas of intervention related to MH&PSS. 
• Coordinate with other delegations of MdM in the country promoting the alignment of operational approaches.
• Give MH & PSS support directly to the affected population targeted.
• Guaranty the inclusion of a gender perspective in all activities developed.
• Act as representative of the Organization.
• Follow security rules.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Masters Degree in Psychology or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferable but not mandatory in Psychology (with at least 3 years of experience in implementing health project (Mandatory).
• Experience in team management with at least 2 years experience with INGO (Mandatory).
• Practical field experience, as well as in needs assessment and project evaluation.
• Knowledge of public health issues. 
• Capacity to create relationships with national health services and communities. 
• Fluent in English with excellent writing and communication skills
• Capacity to work with partners. 
• Ability to listen, Diplomacy, Reactivity, anticipation, adaptability, capacity to take initiatives.
• Good computer skills. 
• Personal gender awareness and sensitiveness as well as at least one year of work experience with a gender perspective.
