It works with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for poverty reduction and improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization. It has been implementing various project/programs with the funding support of different partner organizations.

KIRDARC in partnership of World Vision International (WVI) Nepal is implementing "Leverage Education Access in Rural Nepal (LEARN) Project” and “Community Engagement and Sponsorship Program (CESP)”in Jumla district" with the aim to improve, care and development of children within families and communities and to access Quality, safe and inclusive education for children aged 3-9 in programme areas. Thus, KIRDARC invites applications from interested candidates based in Jumla District for the following full time positions.

MEAL Officer: 1 No.

Key Responsibilities: This Position will be overall responsible to collect, compile, analyse and verify the information collected from community in a way that provides accurate and valid information and database.To provide necessary support to WVIN for periodic baseline, evaluation and monitoring process in the assigned program areas.To improve the quality of programmes and information management through improved monitoring and accountability system in the programme areas. The MEAL officer will also support project team providing necessary formats and forms along with quality documentation of the results.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in social science or development studies in the field relevant to M&E with at least 2 years of experience in monitoring & evaluation, lesson learns collection and forward accountability promotion Strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines on short notice, and act as a team player. Experience in community based participatory monitoring mechanisms and build their capacity to adopt it.  Knowledge on data management and analysis in software (SPSS).Excellent in Computer application such as in word, Excel and power point .Excellent in Nepali and English both in written and spoken Knowledge of local languages in the district will add value
