Our technical staff on the ground now includes physicians, nurses, surgeons, as well as specialists in water, sanitation and hygiene, mental health and psycho-social support and nutrition.

Summary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Meets with the drivers in the morning.
  • Reviews daily planning and ensures all drivers carry out properly vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Reviews all logbooks and vehicle documents
  • Ensure drivers keep maintenance and condition of vehicles
  • Ensure driver’s commitment to IMC policies and procedures
  • Responsible for quality and accuracy of completion of IMC documents in all vehicles.
  • Responsible for official documents in the vehicle.
  • Ensures that all security documents and devices are present in the morning.
  • Process the regular daily tests on the vehicle (fluids, pressure of tires, fuel, lights, breaks…)
  • Ensure tank is filled according to policy.
  • Ensure repairs are done in a timely manner and are noted in the appropriate document.
  • Ensure accidents are reported immediately to respective as per IMC Protocol.

 

 

 

 Education and Experience

 

  • Specialized training and / or University Degree
  • 3-4 years in the same field of activities
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • Driving license for heavy vehicles IMC + test passed
  • Master 4/4 and use VHF
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Organization skills
  • Know to prioritized
  • Good planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and team player
  • Ability to integrate the IMC policies and procedures
  • Ability to travel and do fieldwork
  • Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations
