Details / requirements:

Position: Jr. Admin Finance Officer

 Department / Location: Operations / Bajura or Bardiya

 Reports to: District Coordinator 

Terms: Initially up to March 2016, possibility of extension 

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for financial management at district level. Responsible for day to day financial management in the field. Provide assistance for day to day field operations. Provide support to District Coordinator and District Office Team members to run the smooth operations of financial and administrative process of respective district office. Provide logistic support for program & staff. Intensive support to capacitate the PNGO’s in the field of management. Responsible for compliance and audit.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for day to day Financial management in the field

·  Provide assistance for day to day Field operations

· Provide support to District Coordinator and District Office Team members to run the smooth operations of financial and administrative process of respective district office.

·   Provide logistic support for program & staff

·Ensure compliance of local laws and donor requirements of districts offices and partners of the respective district.

· Timely collection and payment of bills/invoices and settlement of advance, liabilities and receivables.

· Review of relevant financial and administrative documents and report to Country Office.

·  Establish and maintain the filing system in district office.

· Assist District Coordinator to generate and compile financial report.

· Carry out Administrative process to meet the objective of program activities in district office.

·  Accomplish other assignments as delegated by the District Coordinator 

Job Specifications (minimum job requirements)

Education: Minimum Bachelor Degree 

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience National/International         agencies/institutions 

Skills:

·         Familiar with financial & administrative management and internal control system

·         Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain positive working relationships

·       Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Word & Excel, Power point)

·       Competent in Nepali and English typing
