Java Engineer
“Verscend Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (f.k.a Verisk Information Technologies Pvt.Ltd.) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Verscend Inc. a rapidly expanding healthcare data-mining company based in Waltham, Mass. Apart from assisting the parent company with the development of the software, research, and data analysis and solutions, Verscend Technologies is also involved in independent software and website development for other small to medium sized clients. Verscend Technologies is one of the largest software solutions company in Nepal employing around 300 engineers and attracting the brightest of the engineering graduates in Nepal.
Details / requirements:
· Minimum 3 years’ experience as a full-time professional software developer required
· Working Experience with Java, JEE, Servlets, JDBC, Spring Framework, JUnit, JQuery/Java script
· Experience with writing multi-threaded Java applications
· Experience with writing and developing from software requirements; object orientated programming, design and architect software, building software using Design Patterns
· Sound Knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies required
· Experience with automated testing approaches is a plus point
· Functional programming experience (Lisp, Clojure, Erlang) is a plus point
· Experience in RDBMS design, writing SQL; knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage
· Strong Analytical Skills, Organizational skills and Communication skills
