IT OFFICER

A reputed trading Company having multinational tie-ups for distributing alcoholic beverages is looking for the following positions:

IT OFFICER  - 2  (Work Station: Kathmandu)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
• Plan and Undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades.
• Respond to breakdowns and ensure minimum breakdown.
• Investigate, diagnose and solve computer software and hardware faults.
• Repair equipment and replace parts as may be required.
• Maintain records and manuals of hardware and software licenses.
• Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures. 
• Ensure Website and Mobile Application are smoothly running 24/7.
• Manage and configure firewall router.
• Ensure the anti-virus software is always up to date and share necessary information with users regarding potential risks.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree is not always necessary, though graduates (particularly those with relevant qualifications) may be preferred. The computing world evolves very quickly and new technologies are always being developed so it is more important that candidates keep IT knowledge up to date. Prior work experience gained in any position will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of IT concepts, techniques, and procedures.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
• Expert knowledge of network systems and security (i.e. WAN, LAN).
• Strong knowledge and experience in the installation and maintenance of network equipment’s.
• Excellent know how on Mobile Applications and Websites.
