Helen Keller International (HKI)/Nepal, an International non-profit organization (INGO) working in nutrition and food security in partnership with the USAID-funded Suaahara II & Sabal Program, seeks application from qualified, energetic and self- motivated Nepalese citizens for the following position:

Position: Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Officer -One  (Kathmandu) 

Description

  • Assist to ensure compliance of activities with project communication strategy. 
  • Assist to develop/design key promotional messages in consultation with the project team. 
  • Participate in developing and evaluating feasibility, efficiency and quality of IEC materials. 
  • Assist in coordinating and communication with project and partners.  
  • Assist in conducting awareness raising campaigns, events, information dissemination, workshop etc.
  • Maintain the IEC Materials. 

REQUIREMENT FOR THE ROLE

Education:  

  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree.  

Work experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in related field.

Skills: 

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Nepali 
  • Computer typing in Nepali and English. 
  • Designing and development of materials.
  • Ability to work with contractors, partners and collaborators.
  • Knowledge of printing techniques and photography.
