Rural Education and Environment Development Center (REED- Nepal) requires following services from consultants (Firms and Individuals):

B. ICT Infrastructure, application development, advice & Support

• Develop the ICT infrastructure identifying the gap or need.
• Establish the Server Windows 2012 with domain user and related other features as per the need of organization.
• Establish separate Backup of official documents on the server.
• Establish appropriate LAN, WAN with appropriate switchbox, patch panel, switch. Create LAN for each user and each device. Establish WAN as per the required by the organization.
• Establish Telephone port on each LAN port. Set up Intercom NEC box.
• Develop, enhance, upgrade version and manage Websites as per requirements. Back up website and website database as per the schedule.
• Establish Reed Nepal Website Search Engine friendly (SEO) with different search engine tool.
• Establish Online leave , travel and program advance request
• Assist for getting custom map using different tools
• Secure the website in different aspects.
• Update the website to make it android OS compatible.
• Develop database driven intranet for sharing the information across the head quarter and district office.
• Once in a month, backup whole staff email.
• Host the website in appropriate server. Manage and monitor the website, database and email. Monitor its bandwidth and uses.
• Support financial Systems whenever required. 
• Advice and suggest new initiation which is about to deploy in organization.
• To develop the monitoring tool as per the need of the organization.
• To advise on formulating standards, guidelines, implementing IT best practices, addressing IT issues, Information systems security. risk management, benefit realization and value delivery

SKILLS REQUIRED

SKILL AREA:

1. Technical skills

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in ICT infrastructure at the corporate level. Setting up server, creating LAN/WAN with appropriate switch box, patch panel. Have experience on intercom to establish
• Experience and/or good knowledge of database systems (primarily My SQL and MS SQL) as well as application development platform and tools
• Experience on application development and deploy.
• Experience on managing Web Host manager and control panel.
• Experience on monitoring the bandwidth and all uses of website, application that is deployed in server.
• Securely send and receive emails and all kind of support on it.
• Experience in and/or good knowledge of financial systems 

2. Professional qualifications: 

REQUIREMENTS:

• An advanced University degree (Master’s) Advanced University Degree. In Information Technology with minimum 10 years of experience.
