CRS Nepal

CRS is an international NGO based in the United States that works in over 100 countries to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting diseases, poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS started its operational presence in Nepal in response to the 2015 earthquake, providing immediate emergency response in multiple districts and earthquake recovery support. CRS Nepal has been coordinating the reconstruction through the leadership of the National Housing and Settlements Resiliency Platform (NHSRP), formally known as Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) since March 2017 to provide technical and information management support to relevant national, provincial and local governments. Similarly, CRS expanded its programming to other disasters responses (Lamjung, Jajarkot) in country as well as other sectors, namely Livelihoods, DRR and Climate Change. CRS Nepal is also implementing a USAID-financed livelihood technical assistance program, Farmer to Farmer (F2F), in Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces.

Applicants for the below positions must be Nepalese citizens with excellent written and spoken English, as well as competency with Microsoft Office.

Human Resource Coordinator (1 Position-Based in Gorkha): Master’s degree in HR management or equivalent with HR Management certification preferred. With Bachelor’s degree; will consider work experience in a similar position over 5 years. Minimum 3 to 5 years’ relevant work experience, preferably with INGO, at least 2 years managing the HR function. Sound knowledge of local labor law. Ability to use MS Windows and Office packages, Web Conferencing, HRIS.
