Helen Keller International (HKI), an international NGO working in nutrition and food security in partnership with the USAID-funded Suaahara II& Sabal Program. In addition, this organization is working with Tufts University for Nutrition Innovation Lab, invites qualified Nepali nationals for the following position based in Nepalgunj.

Required for the role

HR &Admin Officer – (no.1)

The position holder will be responsible for providing assistance to all aspects of the program and operations team. This includes, but not limited to provide Financial, Administrative, Human Resources, Logistics for the activities of Aflacohort study at field level. 

  • Responsible for accounting of all incoming and outgoing financial transactions of the study at field level. 
  • Maintain a petty cash account for small and daily transactions. 
  • Prepare a procurement plan of study material in coordination with technical team. 
  • Maintain a stock book and update on daily basis.
  • Prepare weekly vehicle movement plan and assign as per requirement in priority basis.
  • Timely collection and payment of local procurement, lease, utilities bills/invoices and settlement of advance, liabilities and receivables. 
  • Collect monthly time sheet of entire study team and maintain leave records.

Education:  

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in management or any relevant field.

Work experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience National or International agencies/institutions.

Skills: 

  • Familiar with Human Resources & administrative management and internal control system.
  • Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Word & Excel, Power point)
  • Competent in Nepali and English typing
  • Sound knowledge on event management, workshop, meeting arrangement.
  • Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Familiar with office procedures
