Front-End Web Developer

Investfly.com is a hot startup company based in the United States, Mountain View, CA. We provide software-as-a-service that enables stock traders and investors all around the world to develop their investment strategies.

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active lead role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works for our web and mobile application.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop user interfaces for our website, web application and mobile application.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Work honestly, independently and report status weekly.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• Understanding of the concepts of progressive enhancement, mobile first and future friendly. 

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Expert JavaScript Developer
• Understands JavaScript MVC framework like Backbone, Angular
• HTML/CSS knowledge and JavaScript
• At least 5 years of front-end programming experience
• Uses of custom written JavaScript

PREFERRED

• A firm grasp of SEO / SEM best practices
• Proficiency in using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator etc
• Basic knowledge on JSON, RDBMS systems and SQL
• Experience with Sass, LESS framework and HTML5 Boilerplate a plus.
• Some knowledge in economics and finance
