Dedicated to children's education, health and rights, ASN works in various developmental themes; Health and nutrition, education, child protection, natural resource management, livelihood, and humanitarian response.

Vacancy Announcement for  District Coordinator 

As leading NGO, Aasaman Nepal has been engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed to protection, promotion and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. Since its inception in 1999, ASN has continuously been active in the development of children in terms of education, child rights, health and nutrition and livelihood. 

ASN has been implementing Sisters for Sisters' education project partnering with VSO, Nepal with the financial aid of DFID from Girls Education Challenge transition window in Parsa and Dhading districts from 2013 and currently looking for following experienced and dynamic team player for the second phase (2017-2021) of aforementioned project in Dhading.  

Position: District Coordinator- 1 (Dhading) 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall Coordination and Implementation of Sister for Sisters' Education Project in Dhading.
  • Coordinate with the district level stakeholders for smooth operation of project such as DEO, WDO, IVs, Teachers, Professional, Local Leaders and Social Activists.
  • Prepare periodic plan & report and update to Project Manager.
  • Represent Aasaman Nepal in district level and local government level forum.
  • Maintain financial management of the program budget for the district
  • Ensure continuous supervision and monitoring of the tasks assigned to the project team.
  • Take lead role in Implementation, monitoring, follow-up, supervision and reporting of sister for sister's education project.
  • Capacity building of project team for effective  project implementation

Qualification and Experience Required: 

  • At least Bachelor degree with three years of experience in project implementation (I/NGO sector).
  • Excellent communication, coordination and staff management skills.

Age Limit: Candidates between 21 years to 45 years are only eligible to apply for all the above posts. 

Duration: Fixed term till December 2020 (Annual contract basis with three months probation period)

Salary: 35000-45000
