Customer Support Engineer

As a Customer Support Engineer you will be  responsible for handling queries of international clients related to features and capabilities of company products. You will act as an interface between clients and the technical units of the company, feeding back on clients input for further development of products and apps. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical  and customer Support to BrainDigit’s international clients 
  • Provide support (Resolve coding issues, product installation,CSS issues etc)
  • Provide live support through Skype, Zopim, Gtalk etc. 
  • Provide forum support  to subscribed clients
  • Identify, correct and advise, on operational issues prevalent in client computer systems.
  • Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our Development group to resolve more ad-vanced issues when necessary 
  • Resolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention
  • Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
  • Communicate across the company with technical units (developers and designers) on core coding issues.
  • Provide mobile apps support (Windows Phone, Ios and Android support).
  • Collect input from clients on product’s features, and feed back and advise the Development Technology unit  on product’s improvement .
  • Deliver customization support: analyze the  feature requests from clients, liaise with Development unit on feasibility of feature development, and follow-up with clients.
  • Provide technical support for all .NET products release: final review and prepare products package, create demo sites, update the site content, send newsletter to clients about the latest updates.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor in Computer Science (BE/B TECH, or equivalent);
  • 2-3 years experience with troubleshooting issues, diagnosing and fixing technical issues, codifying frequent issues into documentation;
  • Proficient knowledge in  .NET programming;
  • Proficiencies in HTML and CSS;
  • Able to proactively initiate, develop, and maintains effective working relationships with team members.
  • Solid knowledge of internet protocols such as SSH,FTP,SFTP & HTTP, as well as the ability to use diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals
  • Candidate should be able to multi-task
  • Should be a capable decision maker
  • Should posses problem solving and analytical skills
