Background

SNV under its Sustainable Sanitation and Hygiene for All (SSH4A) programme is being implemented in 17 district with support from DFID, DFAT. The programme is implemented in close coordination with the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation and its sub-national offices.  SSH4A has developed three training modules aimed at strengthening the supply chain for sanitation: Capacity development of master trainers for Chamber of Commerce and Industries (Nepali); refresher training for masons on toilet construction (English); and business skills training (Nepali).

Scope of Work

SNV is seeking a consultant to develop the content of the in-house training modules into externally publishable training manuals.  The language of the training manual will be the same as that of the training module.  The specific scope of work will include:

  • Design and layout of provided content into a training manual format that is attractive and easy-to-follow.
  • Final editing of text in Nepali and English to ensure the manual is of publishable quality
  • Follow organisational colour schemes and specifications in developing design of manual

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in design and layout
  • Work produced in Nepali and English
  • Past work in design of training manuals is desirable
  • Time frame of assignment:  March 21 – May 5, 2018(maximum 30 work days)
