Mission East, founded in Denmark in 1991, is an international humanitarian organisation, working in Eastern Europe and Asia. The organisation’s activities in Nepal presently focus on building the inclusion and resilience for the most marginalised and vulnerable groups living in Karnali and Earthquake Affected population.

Position: Communications Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Gather field stories and resources for fundraising support.
  • Post on Social Media weekly about NGO field base.
  • Ensure good beneficiary communication through visibility, communication materials, videos, site visits, etc.
  • External and internal Communication 
  • Provide project support to project manager.
  • Engage with local journalists and reporters.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree holder with three years work experience in communication field.
  • Able to liaise with team members and work independently.
  • Able to handle lots of different people and different culture.
  • Fast learner, innovative, creative and self-starter.
  • Technical expertise in photography and translation.
  • High level of English writing skills.
