Details / requirements:

Location: Different VDCs of Sindhuli District 

Term: 3 months

Job Purpose:

 Cluster Facilitator will be responsible for managing and distributing relief support in close collaboration with FCHVs and local stakeholders.  H/She will also be responsible for food demonstration, IYCF – E, seed and agriculture tool distribution, brooding centre establishment, logistic management and reporting.

  1.  Implement Blanket Supplementary Feeding Program (BSFP) using Supplementary food to the target affected population in 3 VDCs.
  2. Support to provide IYCF-E to the targeted population in 3 VDCs, including food demonstrations, maternal, infant and young child feeding and lactation management counselling for pregnant and lactating women.
  3. Assist setting-up village resource farms and brooding centers for poultry in each VDC. Distribute Seed packs and tools during the second round of IYCF-E to mother-baby households.
  4.  Facilitate to re-activate and mobilize Mothers Group, FCHVS and local CBOs.
  5. Ensure that all the supplies delivered to the field on appropriate way and in accordance with HKI policy. 

Qualifications. 

Education: Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree in public health/social science/health education

Work Experience: a minimum of one year of experience in health/ nutrition and food security/livelihood/DRR related programs in similar position/organization. Field level management & Emergency Response experience. Priority will be given to local candidates.
