Chemonics International Inc., a leading international development consultant firm seeks qualified technical specialists and professional support staff for the anticipated USAID-funded Feed the Future Knowledge-based Integrated Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition II Project (KISAN II). KISAN II aims to substantially reduce poverty and hunger by improving agricultural productivity; strengthening the competitiveness, resilience, and inclusiveness of market systems; enhancing the enabling environment; increasing the resilience of vulnerable communities through business literacy; and applying collaboration, learning, and adaptation methodology to ensure flexible, results-driven programming. 

Chemonics seeks qualifies candidates for the following positions; 

Chief of Party - preferably holds a master’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as agricultural economics marketing, agribusiness, or business administration. Has minimum of seven years’ experience (master’s degree level) or 10 years’ experience (bachelor’s degree level) managing complex multi-value chain agricultural development programs with a private sector focus.

Deputy Chief of Party/Agriculture - preferably holds a Master’s level degree or higher in one of the agricultural sciences such as agronomy, agriculture economics or horticulture. Has minimum of seven years of experience for Masters Level or ten years of experience for Bachelor level in the development and implementation of agriculture value chains.

Deputy Chief of Party/Finance- preferably a Master’s level degree in a relevant field such as financial management, analysis, financial planning, or accounting, a Chartered Accountant is preferred. Has a minimum of seven years of work experience for Masters Level or ten years of experience for Bachelor level managing operational, budgeting, financial planning, analysis and purchasing for the program.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Director- preferably holds a master’s degree in a relevant field such as monitoring and evaluation, data quality collection and analysis, surveys, or assessments. Has a minimum of seven years of experience for Masters level or ten years of experience for Bachelor level in managing monitoring and evaluation related tasks for development projects in developing countries and ideally experience working with youth, gender and social inclusion.

Business and Market Systems Director- preferably holds a Master’s level degree in one of the agricultural sciences such as agronomy, agriculture economics, horticulture, or an MBA. Demonstrated experience in business strengthening and value chains (especially for rice, maize, lentil, and high-value commodities).
