Capacity Development Director

Pact , a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, is an international NGO that has worked throughout South and Southeast Asia for over 40 years. In Nepal, we improve the ability of communities to better direct their own development through technical assistance, material and financial support, as well as capacity building for local government bodies and CSOs. Pact plans to bid on an opportunity to strengthen Nepal’s civil society and is looking for highly competent staff for the following positions to be based in Kathmandu. This position is contingent on award of funding.

Position: Capacity Development Director –Nepali citizens only

Responsibility: The Capacity Development Director will oversee and coordinate all capacity development activities under the project, ensuring the project provides individualized, relevant, and holistic capacity development products and services to Nepali CSOs. S/he will conduct or support capacity assessments, capacity development plans, technical assistance, and mentoring, while ensuring measurable impact from activities.
