The Center for Environmental and Agricultural Policy Research, Extension and Development (CEAPRED) is a value-based national NGO committed to human-centered, gender-sensitive, eco-friendly and socially inclusive development. CEAPRED has been working for more than two decades towards social and economic empowerment of women, poor and disadvantaged groups by increasing their household incomes, enhancing food security and improving livelihoods through various agricultural and rural development programs.

CEAPRED is currently updating the roster of professional experts, and in this context, this announcement is placed to seek the application from the deserving Nepali  professionals in the areas of IPM, Seed Production and Marketing, Horticulture, Post Harvest Management, Climate Change Adaptation, Agribusiness/Value Chain Development, Program Development, Knowledge Management and Communication, Gender and Social Inclusion, Agriculture and Nutrition, Monitoring and Evaluation and Capacity Building/Training and Facilitation, and Partnership Management.

Required Competencies

·         Having a minimum of  Master’s degree in the relevant field

·         Having minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in development and/or I/NGO sector including experience with a cooperative grants and/or contracts and also consortium programs.

·         Having strong oral and written communication skills; and proficiency in written and spoken English is must.

·         Able to work in diverse locations of the country

·         Having proficiency in operating computer application softwares, particularly word, excel, power point and access
