Asst. Project Leader and Social Mobiliser/Cultural Facilitator/Social Media Manager

We are a grassroots level initiative working in the field of promoting better healthcare by fostering international volunteerism in the disadvantaged rural communities of Nepal. We are a passionately non-institutional, non-formal organization with emphasis on building a scalable rural health/education delivery module through empowered community owned and motivated projects in a sustainable manner.

 We are currently looking for a Project Leader and Social Mobiliser/Cultural Facilitator and Social Media Manager. This will be a short term contract of 3 months starting 1st September 2014 ( likely to be for a longer period for promising/deserving candidates). Whilst the job period, he/she will have to frequently travel to the project locations often in challenging  conditions in rural areas. Candidate having own motorbike will be desirable.

We require a motivated, high-caliber and energetic person with educational background in either or any of sociology, anthropology, tourism, rural development, management, public health, etc. However, for the right candidate, structured  educational qualification will not be a hindrance, we are looking for the following attributes :

•Excellent spoken & written English, possibly with A level backgrounds.

•Proven inter-personal communication skills

•customer service skills

•Team building & strategic planning skills

•Strong problem solving ability & comfortable multi-tasking

•Ability to lead and manage small teams

•Excellent coordination and monitoring skills

•Able to use basic Microsoft word and excel
