Assistant Research Associate

The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center, known by its Spanish acronym, CIMMYT®, is a not-for-profit research and training organization with partners in over 100 countries. We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented professional for the following positions, funded by USAID and led by CIMMYT. POSITION: Assistant Research Associate

Work Station: Far West, Mid West, Western, or Central Development Regions, Nepal

Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences with at least 2 years of experience in cereal-based cropping systems required. Ability to work in a team or to work independently if needed. Position is responsible for scaling sustainable intensification technologies, supporting strategic partnerships with governmental, non-governmental, and private sector organizations, and ensuring project goals are met. Scaling activities will be complemented by strategic research, and research and M&E data collection will be involved.
