VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

RIMS-Nepal is a non-profit making, non-governmental organization committed to transform lives and living of poor and vulnerable people by managing resources, building capacity, and promoting social justice with wider collaboration. It has been established on 2001 in Dhading.

RIMS-Nepal is currently implementing different Projects across 20 districts of Nepal. In order to implement the USAID funded PAHAL Programme, RIMS Nepal is looking for the experienced and qualified candidates for the following positions with given requirements.

Position: Agriculture Program Manager -1- Kathmandu based

Requirements:

Ph.D. in agriculture with 3 years of experience or Masters Degree in Agriculture with minimum 7 years of working experience in the developmental field. Applicants with experience in managing large and consortium based programmes with USAID will be an advantage.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Overall lead and representation of RIMS-Nepal for PAHAL at the central level. Facilitate and support the regional & field team for the implementation of agriculture related activities. Develop and strengthen good linkages and coordination with consortium members, other partner organizations, government line agencies, related stakeholders, and service providers in the working areas for implementation of project activities. Follow the PAHAL/Mercy Corps/RIMS financial as well as administrative norms and regulations; M&E reporting and documentation, and donor guidelines. Ensures the regional and district team achieve programme achievements targets timely. Supervise and guide the field staff, follow up, monitor and evaluate the field level project activities frequently for its effective implementation. Facilitate to compile and delivery of district and regional progress reports monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually as per need of M&E reporting system. Other jobs and duties related to support programme development of RIMS Nepal and as directed by the immediate authority of RIMS-Nepal.
