VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Human Rights, Social Awareness and Development Centre (HUSADEC) Nepal is Dhankuta registered NGO currently working in two districts of province 1. HUSADEC through its right based activity has been contributing in social development promoting increasing access and quality of education, better governance, human rights and other development indicators in Dhankuta and other project districts.

HUSADEC has signed a contract with RTI International for implementing and managing the community mobilization component of the Early Grade Reading Program (EGRP) in Dhankuta The overall purpose of the community mobilization of EGRP is to increase family and community support for improvement of early grade reading for children from grades one to three. HUSADEC will work directly with School, SMC, PTA, Early Grade Reading sub-committee and all relevant community forums in close coordination with Education Development and Coordination Section at district level and municipalities in local for implementing activities related to community mobilization of EGRP in Dhankuta.

HUSADEC is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions to implement community mobilization component of EGRP in Dhankuta. Admin Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will be mainly support for office management. S/he should ensure that all the grant tasks are executed timely, cost effectively and in an efficient manner with donor rules, regulation according to Nepal Government Laws and Organizational Policies. The Administrative Assistants will have multiple roles and will assist Program Manager and Finance Coordinator in managing general office, finance and compliance and accounting activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective operations.

  • Intermediate or 10+2 passed in management or other related fields. 
  • The candidate must have 1-2 years of experience working in CBOs/local organization
  • Experience in administrative management, organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented setting. 
  • Experience in client relationship management and financial management of programs, preferably donor-funded. 
  • Proficiency in office procedures, typing and use of computers including Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
