SW Nepal is looking for a Admin and Project Finance Officer with minimum 3 year of working experience in admin and finance in a development sector.

Skill and Qualifications:

  • Candidate should have minimum Bachelor degree in accounting or relevant field.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Fluent in word and excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Candidate should be good in Nepali and English

Detailed Terms of Reference for Admin and Project Finance Officer

The purpose of the position is to:  

  1. Take the overall responsibility of project financine
  2. Act as an mediator in between project team and accounts team
  3. Support Administrative Coordinator in day to day work and decision making

THE DETAILED ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

Project Financial Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of project invoice and submission to the client
  • Settlement of field advances and provide instruction in field expenses documentation
  • Monitor the project expenses in line with the provided budget
  • Generate project financial report on periodical basis  
  • Regular follow-up of invoices with clients
  • Support in preparation of financial proposal
  • Support finance team in day to day transaction
  • Provide financial guidance and documentation required to the project staffs
  • Coordinate and liaise with between audit team on annual financial audit and project audit

Administrative Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support project coordinator as an when required
  • Support in preparation of technical & financial proposal and submission
  • Request for the timesheet project staffs and experts
  • Support in hiring and recruitment of new staffs
  • Support in procurement to Logistic Officer
  • Participate in monitoring visits to project sites,
  • Provide logistic support and travel arrangement for field staff
  • Prepare meeting minutes and keep records
  • Provides logistical support during office events, trainings and meetings
  • Ensure that all official documents are prepared and kept in the project files for retrieval and archiving
  • Undertake others administrative and financial tasks as required.
