He/she will prepare, review, control organization related administration and financial operations.

Accountability

Functions

1. Provide advice and guidance on requirements to be met for all new proposal budget formulation.

2. Develop estimated annual organizational budget.

3. Facilitate with auditor for project and organizational auditing.

4. Proper documentation of financial and admin in accordance with financial policy, human resource policy, procurement policy & other relevant policies and guidelines;

5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of any changes in the organization’s HR and financial policy and systems.

6. Bring significant issues arising from budget analysis and trend forecasting to the attention of senior management.

7. Ensuring the financial transactions are properly authorized, recorded and have adequate supporting documentation and can be easily extracted for preparing financial statements.

8. Maintain liaison with donor agencies on administration and financial matters.

9. Ensure the preparation of management and administrative documents as required.

10. Coordinate input to medium-term planning and budgeting documents. Coordinate the monitoring and reporting on programme implementation vs budget status.

11. Supervise and provide technical finance related guidance to other staff.

12. Provide technical support to financial and non-financial staff regarding financial procedures and internal controls.

13. Develop the Terms of Reference (TOR) of various admin and finance related positions including internal & external auditor.

14. Perform monthly financial (budget vs expenditure) monitoring on the basis of project wise budget plan and approved budget norms and notify to Executive Director in case of any changes require or revision needed and submit report to Executive Director.

15. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

§ At least BBA/BBS; preferable university degree majoring in commerce and/or business administration or accounting.

§ At least five years experience in a similar position and human resource management, project planning & management, business administration, stores/logistics management will be an added advantage.

§ Well knowledge on accounting software.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Be familiar with management and implementation of donor funded programmes.

- Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to plan, organize, solve problems, implement, monitor and evaluate tasks and to deliver outputs to meet required deadlines; ability to relate well with a multiplicity of stakeholders; self motivated and team worker.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Proficient with Microsoft office package.

- Fluency in an English language.

Duty station : Lalitpur
