Mahila Sahayatra Micro Finance Bittiya Sanstha Limited was conceptualized by an inclusive group of 100 professional women dedicated to contributing to the socio- economic development of the country. It is an independent micro finance "D/( Gha)" category Bank under the provisions of the Banks and Financial Institution Act 2063. Sahayatra is attempting to fill the gaps in areas where other financial institutions either do not exist or where coverage is minimal. It tries to create a conducive environment to prosperity of deprived communities and promote programs to generate self-employment opportunities in local areas. Its main objectives are to : Promote skills and knowledge enhancement activities aimed at developing entrepreneurship; Expand the outreach of micro finance services to disadvantaged/vulnerable communities and migrant workers. Promote programs to generate self-employment opportunities in local areas. Develop partnerships for credit plus activities and graduate micro levels to meso levels in entrepreneurship development. Demonstrate that women entrepreneurs hold potentials to chage the national economy.
